There's a New Guy in Town

I like this guy. I like him a lot. And I have a sneaking suspicion he might be a hottie, too.

Long Odds, Short Stories

Take a moment and have yourself a looksee.

Also. I think there might be another new guy in this home of mine soon. A charmer for sure. But he's going to be fluffy and have four legs and a waggy type of tail. Maybe today even!

Cuz, you know...I'm not doing much (mothering, teaching, coaching aside...) and I have all kinds of down time, and my oriental rugs mean nothing to me. I feel that quiet is overrated (as are poop-free floors and hair-free anythings, including FOOD) so I thought I'd mix things up a bit with a brand new eight-week-old golden retriever puppy. To go with the full grown golden retriever dog I already have.

I'll take your top dog names in the comment section if you please...

Lord help me.

Thanks for the tip about the new guy. I like him.

Even though your days are about to be filled with poop on your floor and more general chaos - they are also going to have puppy breath. And that is always a good thing.

We name our pets after food mostly (the chef husband thing), Miso, Sesame, Cayenne. So I may not be the best person to ask! Post pictures of the little one when you get him!

I was just remembering an adorable dog named Cordelia~ A southern Belle and quite a beauty. Is it a boy or girl that you're getting? Monty is favorite as is Addison for the VT connection. Maybe Talula? I wish I had the gumption to name a kid talula.

Enjoy this new family member and all the chaos and fun she'll bring!

Me thinks you're sleeping with him.
Call me Nancy Drew.

This new guy?
I think he'll be taking up space at the foot of the bed.
